$1 Diet Day 6 Supper

Thanks to the suggestion from a loyal reader, (thanks ethan) I will be trying to add pictures of each meal for your viewing pleasure.

I came into this meal with a $0.08 deficit, and I planned on making that up with my spaghetti meal tonight, but then I had another idea. I favorite meal of mine when I was a child was for corn pone. Now this is not the same as the recipes you find when you google cornpone, it ends up being closer to the gruel that Oliver Twist was asking for more of. (see pics below)

I cannot reveal the exact recipe for this, unless you are willing to buy it from me. (I will only charge $1, so if I sell 3o, I will have zero economic impact for the month).

The recipe costs a little less than $0.80, so I rounded up to $0.80 for easier math. Normally this can serve 6, but I cut it into 4 servings. This gave me $0.20 a serving, and then once I added two more secret ingredients, I topped out at $0.34. Again, sorry for the secrecy, but for $1 you can enjoy it as well.

So, no, I did not make up any ground tonight on my deficit, but it was worth it. As an added plus, I stayed more full longer. This was very nice.
