$1 Diet Day 10 Lunch

Friday, April 10th, 2009

My breakfast strategy was a great success.  I ate my lunch around 11:3o, right around when I started realizing I was awake.  Last night I scored another succes in cheaping down my diet, besides the rice.  I found some tasty spaghetti sauce on sale for $0.04 an ounce.  I was glad, because the cheap stuff I got a Walmart was not that tasty.  So for lunch, I returned to my old standby of spaghetti.

Totals-

  • $0.78 going into lunch
  • -$0.20 for 4 ounces of spaghetti
  • -$0.08 for 2 ounces of spaghetti sauce
  • _____________________
  • $0.50  This is a huge amount of money for supper.

I know everyone will be pleased to know that the crap monkeys in the packaging department are back at work.  Even with this positive improvement, the regularity has not subsided so far.  We might be in a new dawn for this diet.

$1 Diet Day 9 Breakfast

Thursday, April 9th, 2009

Did not prepare well for today, so I am back to peanut butter bread for breakfast and saving the cornpone for lunch.  Not too bad a turn of events, just not the way I preferred it.

Those darn crap monkeys are starting to irritate me.  It is nice to have a regular throne visit, but the monkeys could do a better job with packaging.

For breakfast-

2 pieces of bread $0.20

1 tablespoon of peanut butter $0.09

so,

  • $1.07 to start the day
  • -$0.29

  • $0.78 for the rest of the day.  I am really starting to bank here.

In my haste for work this morning I forgot my camera, so no pics today.  Sorry.

$1 Diet Day 8 Supper

Wednesday, April 8th, 2009

Tonight I added something new to the menu and it was a welcome change.  I went with rice with a little sweet vidalia onion dression on it.

Total cost-

3 ounces rice $0.21

1 ounce dressing $0.10

total $0.31.

This give me an extra $0.07 for tomorrow.   woohoo.

On the toilet front, (remember I promised full disclosure) the crap monkeys in my digestive system seems to be getting sloppy with their work, if you get my drift.

Tomorrow, $1.07 to spend.
